 Chase is the only Jeffers native on the Long Sox team.  He graduated from RRC High School in 2006 & is currently working toward a degree from Minnesota West Worthington & now South Dakota State University.  Chase played football & baseball while attending school in Worthington.

"Beers" joined the Long Sox in 2007 & recalls Travis Kottke attempting to round 2nd & get to 3rd base against Searles as his favorite moment with the team.  To the delight of Long Sox & Grizzly fans & players alike, Kottke ended up doing a less-than-graceful summersault before being tagged out.
