 Jacob grew up in Wabasso & graduated from Wabasso High School in 2000.  He then attended Bethany Lutheran College (as a Catholic) until 2002 & SMSU until he graduated with an English Literature & Business Management degree in 2004.

Known for his friendly relationship with umpires, "The Big Chief" is another original Long Sox member.  He counts the time that he proposed to his wife Sophie during a game as his best Long Sox memory.

Jacob works for Integrity Bank Plus as the Walnut Grove Branch President & lives with his wife Sophie, two sons Hudsen and Jackson & daughter Kendall in Walnut Grove.
