 Nope, that's not a typo, Matt really was born during the Carter administration.  He grew up in Walnut Grove & graduated from WWG in 1997.  Matt then attended the U of M-Morris & earned a degree in Economics & Management.

"Knocker" counts the trips to the state tournament in 2005, 2008 & 2009 as his favorite Long Sox moments.  Matt played 4 years at Morris, so as he has said, "we didn't exactly challenge for many conference titles."

Matt is an insurance agent, a real estate broker & an original Long Sox member.  He currently lives in Tracy with his wife Angie, son Noah & daughter Lauren.
