 Mike is another Wabasso native with the Long Sox, graduating from Wabasso High School in 2000.  He then attended SMSU until 2004 when he earned a degree in Agronomy.

"The Hammer" joined the Sox halfway through our inaugural season & earned his nickname in a bone-jarring collision at home plate against Sleepy Eye in the playoffs in 2005.

Mike currently lives in Wabasso with his wife Brandi and daughter Kylee where he farms & sells seed for Samyn Seed in the Wabasso area.
