Shane is a Westbrook native and graduated from WWG High School in 2010.  He joined the Long Sox in 2009 as a rare left handed pitcher for Lamberton.

Shaner began attending Minnesota West Community College in Worthington in 2010 & plays baseball for the Blue Jays.
