Shane is a Westbrook native and graduated from WWG High School in 2010.  He joined the Long Sox in 2009 as a rare left handed pitcher for Lamberton.

Shaner will attend Minnesota West Community College in Worthington starting in 2010 & will be playing baseball for the Bluejays.
